Several months ago, it occurred to me that we really were not teaching Becca her family name. So, I began to work it into our conversations and she’s got it down. Of course, as the following typical sequence shows, there are still a few holes to be filled.
“What’s your name?” I ask.
“Becca Weinraub,” she answers.
“What’s your brother’s name?”
“Benjamin Weinraub.”
“And what’s my name?”
“Daddy Weinraub.”
Mommy’s name gets similar treatment.
So, still a bit more work to do.
